Run Postman Collections
Let’s take a look at some of the advantages of running Postman collections using the Postman Collection Runner and then run an existing Postman Collection.
Postman Collection Runner
Collection Runner allows you to run a set of requests contained in a collection with the following capabilities:
- pass data between scripts
- log request test results
- change the request workflow
- run collections in a specified environment
How to run Postman Collections?
You can run your collections by clicking on the ‘Runner’ button in Postman which will open up a new Collection Runner window.
Then, select your collection, specify the environment, and hit the Run collection button.
This will run all the requests in the collection and show a report like this in the end. In conclusion, Postman Collection Runner is a great way to quickly automate your APIs.
